Working Toward Gender-Affirming Coaching Relationships

Ignite March 2024Join our partners from Translate Gender, a trans-led community non-profit, to help us deepen our practice of creating inclusive and welcoming coaching relationships with trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive individuals. Many people have good intentions of being an ally, but don’t know how to turn these intentions into action. This workshop will support our ongoing community learning related to gender (expression, identity, and perception), experiences related to coming out, health, navigating relationships and community, and the impact of our current political and social climate. Workshop attendees will have an opportunity to practice inclusive language, explore community resources, and reflect on how they can work towards authentic and inclusive coaching relationships.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is offered as part of the ICFNE 2024 Ignite initiative and is open to all. Please note that attendance of this event will be required of all 2024 Ignite volunteers. Volunteers will be asked to participate in a 30 minute orientation to Ignite immediately following the presentation by Translate Gender. The event is free of charge for registered Ignite Volunteers. Limited access to a recording will be made available for those registered volunteers who are unable to attend the event live. However, per ICF Global, you must attend the event live in order to receive any CCEUs.

The session will be recorded and available to registrants after the session, but you must participate in the session live in order to receive any related Core Competency CCEs (if applicable).

CCE Units:

  • 1.25 Core Competencies CCEUs and 0.25 Resource Development CCEUs

PLEASE NOTE: Registration cancellations must be received in writing at least four (4) business days prior to an event to be eligible for a refund. If you are unable to attend an event and have not cancelled in advance, your payment will not be refunded. To make a change to your registration, please email events@icfne.org
