Biography
After 50, the rules change.
You’ve done what was expected.
Now it’s time to do what’s true.
Many women reach midlife and realize they’re done accommodating, postponing, and living on the sidelines of their own lives. Something no longer fits — a role, a relationship, a version of themselves — and they know it’s time for change, even if they don’t yet know what that change looks like.
I’m Sue Keller, DMD, ACC, a certified life coach who works primarily with women navigating midlife transitions. I support women who feel stuck, depleted, or quietly restless — and who are ready to engage actively in change.
Change at this stage of life is rarely loud or obvious — it often begins as a quiet, persistent knowing that something has to shift.
If you’re in a season of change and want a thoughtful, honest conversation about what’s next, you’re welcome to message me here on LinkedIn. You don’t need to have it figured out — we can explore what you’re navigating together and whether coaching is a good fit.
Coaching with me is collaborative, grounded, and forward-moving. I don’t offer therapy or emotional caretaking. Instead, I provide a steady space for inquiry, accountability, and experimentation — supporting clarity, energy, and choice.
This work is especially supportive for women navigating:
• professional identity shifts later in life
• divorce, uncoupling, or redefining themselves after long relationships
• sexual identity exploration or coming out later in life
• empty nest and family role transitions
• the question, “What do I want now — and what am I no longer willing to tolerate?”
My approach blends:
• ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) standards
• Positive Intelligence (PQ) coaching, including the Saboteur framework
• IFS-informed parts work
• evidence-based behavior change and accountability
• deep presence, humor, and compassion
Before becoming a coach, I earned my undergraduate degree at Harvard University and my DMD at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and spent 25 years as a dentist and business owner. My own transitions ultimately led me to this work.
I serve on the Board of Directors for the International Coaching Federation, New England Chapter, and I welcome LGBTQIA+ clients exploring identity, partnership, and belonging later in life.
If something here resonates, you’re welcome to message me. Your next chapter doesn’t need to wait.
