Curious about joining the ICFNE Board of Directors? Bring your thoughts and questions and join Richard Brown, ICFNE President, for an informal chat about board service and the open board roles in the '26-'27 Nominations and Elections cycle.
These board role terms officially begin in Early June, though they actually ramp up in September, after the chapter's summer break.
Open Roles Include:
- President-Elect
(The President-Elect sits on the board to prepare to lead as president the following year.)
President is the air-traffic controller role. Supporter-in-chief. Facilitator. Great for someone who likes the big picture, and the role of serving this excellent board, as you collectively serve this excellent community of coaches.
(3-year commitment, 1 year each as: President-Elect, President, and Past-President
- VP of DEIB
Great role for someone who notices who’s missing and cares deeply about belonging, who brings a natural DEIB lens to conversations, to ensure equity and inclusion are part of every decision, not an afterthought. Leads the DEIB committee.
(2-year term)
- VP of Membership
Great role for someone who’s a natural connector and enjoys strengthening relationships and improving experiences behind the scenes; who cares about how members engage with ICF New England and likes being the bridge between the board, the community, and ICF Global.
(2-year term)
- Co-VP of Education
Great role for someone who’s passionate about coach development and energized by how learning evolves; who enjoys improving the processes of our Education Department, and helping education offerings feel clear, accessible, and aligned with the future of coaching. Co-leads the Education Committee.
(2-year term)
- VP of Communication and Marketing
A great role for someone who likes knowing what’s happening across the chapter and turning that into supportive, engaging communication. Primary driver of our newsletter, and of our current initiative to better utilize social media, as well as overseeing the overall look, feel, and flow of chapter communications and website.
