About this event

HOST CHAPTER: ICF North Florida
HOST CHAPTER CONTACT NAME: Amanda Connelly

Coaching clients through seasons of spiritual uncertainty is complex—for both coach and client. In this session, Stacey B. Wynn, MDIV, PCC shares practical strategies for supporting clients as they navigate shifts in faith and spiritual practice. Explore how to uphold ICF competencies while “going to the mat” alongside clients wrestling with belief, doubt, and evolving spiritual practices. Drawing on a decade of experience guiding clients through faith deconstruction, Stacey is dedicated to equipping coaches with tools and insights for navigating these nuanced realities—while maintaining the highest professional standards.

What you will learn:

1. Foster a Safe, Affirming, and Client-Centered Coaching Space
Objective: Create and maintain a secure space for clients to share doubts, questions, and struggles.

2. Strengthen Professional Boundaries and Self-Awareness as a Coach
Objective: Prepare internally to witness your own internal responses during coaching. Practice strategies to remain present and curious—upholding client-centeredness by avoiding over-spiritualization or directive approaches, especially when beliefs diverge.

3. Ethically Resource and Empower Clients for Ongoing Growth
Objective: Curate resources that empower rather than overwhelm, and consider utilizing the resources your client finds helpful, to come alongside their growth path.
Presenter: Stacey B. Wynn, MDIV, PCC
Stacey Wynn, MDIV, PCC, is a coach, author, and Enneagram specialist who has guided hundreds of clients across corporate teams and private practice. In her private work, Stacey’s trauma-informed approach blends theology, abuse recovery, and faith transitions to help individuals break free from harmful beliefs and reclaim clarity.

Stacey draws on her academic foundation in theology and her own experience exiting toxic evangelicalism, along with a decade of supporting others deconstructing from harmful belief systems and spiritual abuse. Her coaching merges spiritual understanding, leadership wisdom, and practical support for those facing the complexities of identity and transformation.

Outside of coaching, Stacey enjoys exploring nature, sharing adventures with her daughter, and beekeeping alongside her partner Dave in North Florida.
